Add ChatBouncer to any website

1 Get your ChatBouncer code

1. Create your ChatBouncer account (14-day free trial) or log in, and set up your assistant.
2. In your dashboard, open your assistant and go to the Widget & embed tab.
3. Click Copy code. It's one line that looks like this (yours has your own key): <script src="…/w.js" data-key="pk_…" async></script>
4. On the same tab, under Your website domains, add every address your site uses (for example yourbusiness.com, plus any test or staging address) and save. The chat box only runs on the addresses you list.

2 Paste the code on your site

1. Paste your ChatBouncer code just above the closing </body> tag, on every page.
2. If your site uses a shared template, footer file or a site-wide "custom code" setting, paste it there once and it covers every page.
3. Save and publish or upload your change.

Google Tag Manager uses this same script line: one Custom HTML tag, trigger All Pages. That is not a separate product.

3 Check it and go live

1. Open your site in a new tab. The chat button shows in the bottom corner.
2. Back in your ChatBouncer dashboard, press Go live so your assistant starts answering visitors.
