Add ChatBouncer to Webflow

Paste the code once in your Site settings and publish. The chat box shows on every page.

1 Get your ChatBouncer code

  1. Create your ChatBouncer account (14-day free trial) or log in, and set up your assistant.
  2. In your dashboard, open your assistant and go to the Widget & embed tab.
  3. Click Copy code. It's one line that looks like this (yours has your own key): <script src="…/w.js" data-key="pk_…" async></script>
  4. On the same tab, under Your website domains, add every address your site uses (your custom domain and your yoursite.webflow.io address) and save. The chat box only runs on the addresses you list.

2 Add the code in Webflow

  1. Go to your Site settings and open the Custom code tab.
  2. Paste your ChatBouncer code into the Footer code section.
  3. Click Save changes.
  4. Publish your site. The code doesn't go live until you publish.

Webflow allows custom code on sites with an active Site plan, or in a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace.

3 Check it and go live

  1. Open your site in a new tab. The chat button shows in the bottom corner.
  2. Back in your ChatBouncer dashboard, press Go live so your assistant starts answering visitors.
